The love the JUNE project members shared for each other radiated to our community and the Pottsvillians who encountered them or just merely watched them work. The tangible results of the JUNE Project's efforts are important. However, and more importantly, the spirit of Christ's love and the message of the gospel channeled through the volunteers by their actions will remain strong in Pottsville long after paint has faded and bricks and mortar crumble.

Personally, that spirit touches me. Sometimes when I'm not having the best of days, I look at the JUNE Project photos or visit the work sites. I'm immedately filled with an almost indescribable sensation. That sensation is the lasting love that you all have for each other and Jesus Christ.

By the way, please tell the group that the summer interns, Jared and Reid, send their best wishes. Also the projects look BEAUTIFUL! The group's work has inspired residents to start sprucing up their properties. Again, the group's actions, fueled by Christ's love, are improving the quality of life for those residents. Roll on JUNE Project 2009! GO PHILLIES!
